Okite

Okite is available in slabs, measuring approximately 120” x 55”, with thickness ranging from 2 cm (3/4”) and 3 cm (1-1/4”) used for horizontal and vertical applications. It comes in 43 beautiful colors, including the exclusive “Collezione Vanati” with the industry’s first and unique “veined” quartz surfacing. “Collezione Venati” delivers the beauty of natural marble with the extraordinary benefits that make Okite the product of choice for quartz surfaces. It can also be customized to fit any project. Fabrication and installation of Okite is similar to that of natural stone.

 

Okite has an absorption rate of 0.022%, while granite is the next closest at 0.2 – 1.0%. It is highly stain and scratch resistant, Okite is the ideal product for any indoor surfacing application.

 

Okite is the strongest when compared to marble and granite and is much more resistant to cracking, staining or breaking than any other quarried stones. In fact only three minerals are stronger than Okite, diamond, sapphire and topaz.
